"Woe zo!"
  • LANGUAGES …
  • There are 80 known African languages yet English is the ‘official language’.  One of the ways the villagers greet people is by saying ‘woe zo’ which means welcome.

Children at Play
  •    CHILDREN AT PLAY …
  •    The children are sharing a coconut which provides nourishment & vitamins.  They use a cutlass to chop the coconut into pieces.  Without a school, the children find ways to entertain themselves in the natural environment.

Family Life
  •    FAMILY LIFE …
  •    Children are preparing to help their mothers and grandmothers in the daily work.  The children do not have money for education but are always happy to welcome new visitors.

Children Dancing
  •    CHILDREN DANCING …
  • The Keteyte Drumming and Dancing Group perform African style dances.  Keteyte means Iron Train.  Eric is encouraging the youth to focus on dancing and improve themselves through education.

Authentic Nature

  •    The center will support youth in discovering and expressing their authentic nature in a way that is personally fulfilling while embracing the good of humanity.

  •    Eric is looking to increase sanitary conditions of the village.

Bohrbohrbo Dancing
  •    HAVING FUN …
  •    One of the ways the villagers have fun is through ‘Bohrbohrbo Dancing’ which involves the whole village.

Open Hearts
  •    Ghanaian children and their families are quick in opening their hearts to visitors from the outside to their local customs and way of living.
